2026 July: WAI Newsletter
This quarter, WAI advanced work across all its programs through strong collaboration among staff and partners. We welcomed Sierra Onda as our new Operations Manager, who has quickly stepped in and is already making an impact across operations and program coordination. Our Water Quality work continued in the field, including a dye tracing study in Kealakekua that’s helping us better understand subsurface flow paths and potential contamination risks. Our SeaSick reporting tool is also gaining traction, supporting community reporting and helping bring potential water quality concerns to light sooner…
2026 April: WAI Newsletter
WAI wants to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the Hawaiʻi Flood Relief Fund organized by WAI. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $10,000 to support critical food access and sanitation efforts for impacted communities. We also want to recognize the incredible efforts of our WAI team. Staff have come together across projects with collaboration and dedication, continuing to push initiatives forward in impactful ways.
